Remittances hit $1.3B in March, up 26.4%

MANILA, Philippines -- (UPDATE) Cash remittances in March by Filipinos working overseas rose 26.4 percent year-on-year to $1.3 billion, bringing cumulative inflows in the first quarter to $3.5 billion, up 24 percent year-on-year, the central bank said.
