GMANews.TV - PLDT Q1 income flat, but to achieve core target
Philippine Long Distance Telephone Co., the largest phone firm in the country, on Tuesday said its consolidated net income for the first quarter of 2007 was flat at P8.6 billion due to lower foreign exchange gains.
The company’s core earnings for the period, however, rose 11 percent to P8.4 billion.
In a statement sent to the media, PLDT said its consolidated service revenues for the quarter rose 10 percent to P33 billion on-year.
