MANILA, Philippines--Aboitiz Equity Ventures Inc's (AEV) first quarter to March net profit jumped 68 percent from a year earlier to 1.08 billion pesos, boosted by earnings of units Union Bank of the Philippines and City Savings Bank, the conglomerate said.
