MANILA, Philippines -- Share prices closed at a seven-week high, with heavyweight Philippine Long Distance Telephone Co. (PLDT) advancing for the second straight day after its sharp losses last week, as the strong overnight gains on Wall Street lifted sentiment, dealers said.
