Peso moves up to new 6-year high

Peso at 6-year high in early trade

SINGAPORE -- The Philippine peso gained nearly a fifth of a percent to 47.83 per dollar in morning trade, its highest in six years, while most Asian currencies remained little changed. Group of Seven finance ministers and central bankers yielded no major policy shift.
